About

Pocket Verdict started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of games we'd found. At some point the recommendations got long enough that a website made more sense than another wall of messages.

We don't chase press releases. Every game on this site is something someone here actually installed, opened, and stuck with for at least a few hours before writing a word. If a title bored us in the first ten minutes, we say that too.

Games get picked for review in a simple way: we look at what's climbing the charts, what readers ask about, and what we personally can't stop tapping on during a commute. Genre doesn't matter — a clever card game and a sprawling RPG get the same attention.

Nobody here is trying to sell you anything. We write, we rate, and you decide whether a download is worth your battery.
